Who Is Sinenjabulo Zungu?

Sinenjabulo Zungu is a renowned and respected female South African entrepreneur, and is mostly known as the daughter of a popular football club chairman whose name is Sandile Zungu. Asides her father’s title, Sinenjabulo is also a reputable CEO of a South African football club named AmaZulu FC.

Before becoming the CEO of AmaZulu football club, she was initially the marketing manager of a brand, Qhubeka Forensic Services, and worked also as a sales manager with Tiger Brands.

Her childhood was memorable one as she was born into the known and notable family of  Mr Sandile Zungu and late Mrs Zodwa Zungu.

The moments that led to her working with AmaZulu team, she began to pic interest with football as she flew to Spain to watch the live El Classico (Barcelona and Real Madrid) match.

Education

With the jobs Sinenjabulo has been into, it may be easy to deduct her educational qualifications. Sinenjabulo Zungu studied in the University of Cape Town, she bagged a degree in Business Administration and majored in Marketing.

She graduated 13 years ago, in 2010 from the South African university, from there she travelled to Spain to further her education. There she got a degree in International MBA, and the degree was obtained from IE Business School in Madrid.

Career

Sinenjabulo has been having a successful career as she is curently the Chief Executive Officer of the AmaZulu Football Club. She had worked as a marketer, sales person, stakeholder, sponsorship and partnership manager, etc.

She began her career as a marketing analyst with the Out Of Home Media Space and was also a part of the marketing committee with the industry board known as OHMSA.

The female entrepreneur, Sinenjabulo Zungu worked with Qhubeka Forensic Services as their brand marketer and as later promoted to CEO which she effectively served from 2017 to 2021.

Currently, she is a Non Executive Director of Tiger brands, from 2015, she worked as the sales manager looking for wholesalers in Easter Cape of South Africa.

She is also the co-founder of a biometric tech company.

Before she was appointed the CEO of AmaZulu, the female business person has not been in the sports industry, neither has she been in the football business.

Not long after she retuned from Madrid, her father purchased a football club and knowing she studied marketing, her dad made her a consultant at AmaZulu FC in 2021. Shortly after, she was appointed the CEO of the same football club.

In a report, she stated that she will see to the club having female team, however it will not be an easy task as it will require funds to buy and maintain the female team.
