Mfundo Zungu Biography & Age

The young man, Mfundo Zungu is the son of the South African billionaire, Sandile Zungu who was born in Umlazi Township of Durban in South Africa and born on 10th of February 1967, he is also Sinenjabulo Zungu (Ntuli)’s brother.

He was born and raised in South African and from his father influence has risen to a great height.

Thought much information about him is not out to the public, we have been able to gather some information about him and his career path

Mfundo Zungu Career

Zungu name is a renowned name and Family in South Africa, known for their business prowess, affluence and influence.

The Zungu Investments Company (Pty) Ltd was formed and created by Sandile Zungu, and he has made the company a family company.

Currently, Mfundo Zungu is an Associate at the Zungu Investments Company (Pty) Ltd, and according to their website, Mfundo’s primary duty is to assist the Executive within the deal team.

He is said to has been among the Zungu Investments Co. team for up to 5 years, in 2018, he first joined as the company’s Investment Analyst.

After he joined, he has been among the team that led several acquisitions and disposals, capital raising, buying and selling of stocks and shares, creation of private equity funds etc.

Asides the Zungu company, he works with Mettle Corporate and Specialized Finance on secondment. He was included as a team member in August 2020.

Mfundo is also a Non-Executive member at AmaZulu F.C., his job includes; negotiating and securing of sponsorships, managing sponsorship relations, strategic oversight, structuring of the Youth Development Programs etc.

Education

Young Zungu currently holds several degrees like;

Degree in Economics with Finance – Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), the degree was bagged from the University of Cape Town

He also attended University of the Witwatersrand where he bagged a degree in Business Finance (B.Com Honors).

Mfundo is now going for Chartered Financial Analyst and fortunately, he has passed the first stage which is usually referred to as Level I.
