Zakwe & Zola Are Both Preparing To Dish Out A Studio Cooked Meal
A New Song May Be Expected From Zakwe Featuring Zola
Undoubtedly, collaborations are how artists become greater, this is in line with the saying that goes; two heads are better than one. Also, this is this case of both Zakwe and Zola 7 who have a history of being together in the muic scene for a while now.
Who Are Zakwe And Zola
They are both South African entertainer who hail from the same village and are also into the same kind of music, Kwaito.
Zakwe
The real name of Zakwe is Ntokozo Zakwe, and he is a renowned South African Kwaito rapper and music producer. He was born and raised in KwaMashu, a village in KwaZulu-Natal. Zakwe was born on 1988, and that makes him 35 years old. He is signed with the music label Universal Music Group.
Zakwe has been in the music scene for almost a decade. He does not share his songs regularly, but whenever he comes through with a track, be sure to know that it will bang hard.
Zola 7
The South African artist, Zola has his real anme as Bonginkosi Dlamini. His full stage name is Zola 7, the inspiration and story behind the name has not been told. Zola 7 is also a respectable South African writer, musician, producer, actor, TV & radio presenter, and also a poet.
It has been reported that Dlamini started out his entertainment career as an actor, and so achieved a national recognition while performing on the television series titled “Yizo Yizo”. From there, he ventured in to music.
Zakwe Features Zola 7
The duo, as earlier stated have a long history of working together to make great music. The first time at least we are sure they began to work together was when they released a track, Yesterday by Kakwe ft Zola. Ever since, the duo have been working closely, they also share solo singles and feature other artists. The last release from either of them was from Zola 7 where he dropped a new song, “Skinny Jean” in April 2023. The song was assisted by Xosti & Vukani.
Recently, Zakwe and Zola both took to their social platforms and TikTok to share a supposedly new music snippet, and as expected, fans a re loving the tune.
All we know for now it that they could be working on something, but they did not mention about any song title, neither did they reveal the release date of the new and upcoming tune.
Either ways, we are glad they are in the studio cooking up something nice for their fans.
