Abafana Bokuthula’s Songs ‘Noxolo’ Used As DSTV Disk Challenge

Abafana Bokuthula Noxolo – DSTV is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most popular broadcast satellite service in the Sub-Saharan Africa owned by MultiChoice and currenrly located in Randburg, South Africa. The satellite service is mostly known for showing sports activities, mostly football. On it’s Super Sports channels, these channels are dedicated to showing different sport activities including football (FA Cup, Premier League, African Cup Of Nations, etc. also it shows in full South African national football matches.

Earlier this year, the company conducted a ‘Disk Challenge’ which is literally making a video mix of the South African national football team of one’s choice with any song. The challenge very popular, and many upcoming Djs and Vjs partook in the contest in order to come out victorious.

Most of the contestants shared the video on their social media pages, but some stood out from many videos shared on the internet.

One of the videos which were really unique was a video mix which featured Kaizer Chiefs F.C., (a South African top performing national team) and a song in the background. The song title is Noxolo by the talented singer Abafana Bokuthula.

On the video, the video mixer cropped the good moments of the national football team, highlighting video moments of celebrations, goal scoring, fans and some good players of the team while in action. The video which basically features Kaizer Chiefs F.C. and Abafana Bokuthula’s song “Noxolo” has been a delight to watch.

It is sad that the video did not emerge the best or winner, but from the reactions of many users it is apparent that the video was loved by many as it already has thousands of view on just TikTok alone.

As a lover and fan of Kaizer Chiefs F.C., and fans of Maskandi especially Abafana Bokuthula, the video has been one of my best video remixes and so has to feature on my blog HipHopZA. Check out the video on TikTok.
