Mahlathini and the Mahotella Queens were a South African mbaqanga supergroup made up of the three musical acts linked together by talent scout and record producer Rupert Bopape at the Gallo Recording Company in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1964.

About The Song

Kazet is a 2006 album by the Mahotella Queens. The album was a compilation of recordings that had recently been recorded in South Africa and in Paris, and included the South African national anthem in addition to new compositions such as “Amazemula” (“Monster”), “Nomshloshazana” (A woman’s name) and “Ubusuku Nemini” and classics like “Kazet”.
