SPeeKa – Organized Grime 2 Album

“Organized Grime 2” serves as the sequel to SPeeKa’s 2017 EP of the same title. The 11-track album serves, as described by SPeeKa, as an ode to both his love for Hip-Hop and Kwaito culture and a tribute to his late father, who appears on the album’s artwork.

The project’s intro, titled “Tlhoka Pelaelo”, perfectly sums up SPeeKa’s journey through the South African Hip-Hop scene through the years – touching on his music production, his time on iconic SA Hip-Hop radio show The Full Clip and his online series Sotra Cyphers. Listeners are then greeted with an epic Boom Bap experience in the form of the track “Amy” featuring gifted Soweto MCs Fergason and Infektist – setting the tone for the project.
