Growing up in Msinga, KwaZulu-Natal, Shwi (born Mandla Xaba) and Mtekhala (born Zwelenduna Rodgers Magubane) met. They moved to Johannesburg in pursuit of employment, where they composed music for the Hlanganani Isicathimiaya ensemble. they just released a new song and they captioned the song Wangisiza Ubaba.
