Francis Mercier, Frigid Armadillo & Luedji Luna – Yara

Francis Mercier, globally recognized as one of the greatest afro house producers, is committed to strengthening his relationship with Brazil. With his new track “Yara”, the Haitian artist joins forces with the talented Brazilian singer and songwriter Luedji Luna and the South African DJ duo Frigid Armadillo.

Released on June 14, to honor Juneteenth — also known as Freedom Day, a U.S. national holiday celebrated on June 19, which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.  The track emerges as a powerful union of styles, talents, and skills, blending elements of afro house and Brazilian music, highlighting the diverse and rich cultural origins of each artist.

Frigid Armadillo’s style undoubtedly adds a special flavor to “Yara”, elevating the sonic vibe. With a distinctive sound, the duo has also made their mark in electronic music. Respected throughout South Africa and carving a promising path, the project recently achieved global success.
